Anti-Parasite Pellets for all Water Turtles

DIRECTIONS:

Gently spread pellets over the water surface allowing the food to float. Feed the pellets exclusively for 3 consecutive days every week for 3 weeks. Allow your pets to consume as much of the medicated pellets as they want during feeding time. Do not use other foods during treatment period. Repeat treatment if signs of illness are still present in your pet, or consult a veterinarian. Repeat whenever a new reptile pet is added to your home. To treat for both bacteria and parasites, use the anti-bacteria formulation first, followed by the anti-parasite formulation. Not recommended as a daily diet after treatment.

The Exo Terra Repti Glo 5.0 has a moderate to high UVB output, similar to that of shady environments such as rain forests and other tropical locations. Reptiles living in these habitats receive less UV radiation because of the many climatological conditions (fairly high humidity, changes in weather, etc) that prevent direct sunlight from reaching them or their basking sites.

To fit our range of fluorescent bulbs, both linear and compact, Exo Terra developed a complete line of terrarium tops and linear fluorescent bulb controllers. Almost all of these fluorescent fixtures have multiple fittings to enable a combination of different Repti Glo bulbs in order to simulate any micro habitat suitable for a specific species.

The Exo Terra Repti Glo 10.0 has a very high UVB output similar to that associated with desert environments. Desert locations receive more direct sunlight than any other because of fewer clouds, less air humidity and no plants or trees to provide shade. Therefore desert reptiles are more exposed to UV radiation than any other type of reptile. This bulb can also be used on screened terrariums or terrariums with dense screen covers to ensure UVB penetration. Dense screens can filter out up to 50% of the UVB rays.

Ornate Box Turtles are exquisite turtles that require intelligent and sensitive care. These turtles have very particular needs with regard to habitat and feeding. The Ornate Box Turtle is native to plains and prairies in sandy areas. Your Ornate Box Turtle also needs a place to burrow when they need to escape the heat. Just look at the scutes on its carapace and count the rings that mark their annual growth. The Juvenile Hermann’s Tortoise is a great tortoise for beginning keepers. The Hermann’s Tortoise is a very hardy herbivore that doesn’t grow too large in size. Adults typically grow to be between 5 in. to 8 in. They are a very beautiful species.

The intricate designs along the shells of the Sulcata Tortoises make them very popular and highly sought after with keepers all over the world. The Sulcata Tortoise originated in areas near the Sahara Desert so they’re accustomed to dry, warm areas with little water and a lot of natural sunlight.

Although the Sulcata Tortoise is accustomed to areas without much water, they do still require water for drinking and soaking in. Because they’re native to the Sahara Desert, where they’ve grown accustomed to traveling to find food sources and water, they are quite active in captivity. The ornate markings of the Sulcata Tortoises make them one of the more beautiful tortoise species!
